Harbest Agritech
Empowering Farmers Through Training and Extension Work
For the past 29 years, Harbest has been implementing season-long training programs on vegetable production and short-term fruit farming across the Philippines. These initiatives are conducted in partnership with government agencies such as the DA, DAR, DSWD, and LGUs, as well as NGOs and foreign development agencies.
Our team of trained agriculturists continues to provide free agricultural extension services to farmers and dealers through our 8 branches and field stations nationwide, ensuring that knowledge and support reach every grower we serve.
A highlight of Harbest’s Agritech initiatives is our 13-year partnership with SM Foundation’s Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan (KSK) Program from 2007 to 2019, where we provided season-long agronomic training to over 20,000 small farmers. Through this program, we helped improve farmers’ technical skills, empowering them to grow high-quality vegetables and fruits and build more sustainable livelihoods.

Trainings for Edible Gardening and Farming
Harbest conducts hands-on trainings on edible gardening and farming, designed to equip participants with practical skills for growing their own food. Our programs are customizable to fit the needs of your organization or community—whether for livelihood, education, or sustainability initiatives.
We also offer online training sessions with custom gardening kits, allowing participants to conveniently learn and grow along with the course from anywhere.

Plant Tissue Culture Supplies and Turn-Key Projects
Harbest Tissue Culture Laboratory provides a complete range of supplies — including chemicals, laboratory furniture, equipment, and other essentials — for both small and large scale laboratories.
We also offer turnkey projects that cover custom design, planning consultation, complete lab setup and equipment supply, as well as intensive hands-on training for aspiring and practicing tissue culture technicians.
Since its establishment, Harbest has produced 179 tissue culture graduates and completed 11 turnkey laboratory projects. Our R&D phase (2016–2020) strengthened our foundation in tissue culture innovation, followed by the launch of our training program in 2023 and turnkey project implementations in 2024.
